Thank You for Participating in the
Working Group Sessions!
Thank you for contributing to the creation of a neighborhood vision last Wednesday. It was a jam-packed evening, as community members combed through the outreach results, discussed them within their working groups, and identified neighborhood values. There was a huge amount of information to process within a short amount of time. With that in mind, we are going to continue that process online.
What's Next?
Go online to share more ‘values’
Last Wednesday was just the beginning of crafting a neighborhood vision. Everything you received at the meeting has been made available on our project website under the respective topic area page (click the topic areas you are interested in). We encourage you to continue reading and digesting the results of the public outreach. As you do this, you can submit new values statements using this online form . It can be submitted multiple times, so feel free to identify as many neighborhood values as you see! It has also been designed to reflect the feedback we received that some values will cross multiple topic areas (you can choose more than one topic area). This form will remain live until midnight on February 25th.
On February 26th staff will compile the values statements and work with the Community Advisory Committee to craft vision statements and images. In March you will have the opportunity to review the draft vision to make sure it accurately captures the neighborhood values you identified.
The River Road and Santa Clara Community Organizations, in collaboration with neighbors, businesses, the City of Eugene and Lane County, are creating a vision that will guide decision-making in River Road and Santa Clara for decades to come.
