Next week Saturday, February 16 is our next free  monthly community dinner .  This is a great opportunity to have meal with friends new and old.  Please join us from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Great Hall.

The deacons stole and alb belonging to Barb Bishop will remain in our sanctuary near the lit paschal candle for the next two weeks as a tribute to her dedicated service here at St. Mary's.   A service to celebrate her life and ministry will be held on Saturday, April 28 at 10:30 a.m.  The service will be followed by the interment of her ashes in the Churchyard.  The Bishop of Chicago, Jeffrey D. Lee, will preside over the funeral.   I hope that you will all be in attendance as we celebrate the life of our wonderful deacon.

Don't forget to stop by the annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on February 13 from 5:30 - 7:00 a.m.  The men of the parish will be preparing the meal, serving and cleaning up the kitchen leaving it absolutely spotless following the meal.

May you have a blessed rest of your week and I will see you on Sunday,
