Figuring It Out: Problem Solving Made Easy
(for girls ages 8 to 12)
Saturday, March 3 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am

Life provides plenty of learning opportunities.  This class will help your girl be ready for them and handle them with more ease and grace.  Registration is required.   Space is limited to accommodate for personal attention and growth.

Limited Seats Still Available! Philadelphia Flower Show
Thursday, March 8

The 2018 Philadelphia Flower Show, Wonders of Water, will celebrate the beauty and life-sustaining interplay of horticulture and water.
 
America's leading floral and garden designers will create tropical jungles, temperate forests, native woodlands and arid landscapes, showcasing the astounding plants that thrive in each environment, from exquisite orchids and flowering vines to luminescent desert blooms.
 
The annual Flower Show is a top destination and "must experience" horticultural event, attracting 250,000 visitors annually to the Pennsylvania Convention Center, a showcase of excellence that dates back to 1829.

The bus departs from the Grand Summit Hotel at 8:30 am and from the Flower Show at 3:00 pm.

Cost: Members $80; Non-Members $95 (includes round trip bus transportation and entrance fees)

Volunteers, ages 13 and up, are needed from 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm for activities at the Maple Sugaring Fest, our annual family festival.

Exciting New Internships!

This year, the Arboretum is offering 4 new, exciting internships for college students. Students with an interest in horticulture and art, will be a good fit for the Garden Art Internship or the Garden Documentation/ Photography Internship .  Communications majors or Media Studies majors will have an opportunity to develop social media campaigns and strategies as the next Social Media Communications Intern .  The new Environmental Activist/Marketing/Green Community Events Intern will gain experience with environmental initiatives, marketing and membership management.
