PUBLIC FORUM: LEARNING CHALLENGES
Michelle has invited three presenters to speak on the topic of learning challenges at our next Public Forum event on March 15. This is an important topic for us, in light of recent State Board claims that independent schools do not meet the needs of children who have learning difficulties. We look forward to hearing from Riverside parent and psychologist Judith Markey on mindfulness and the growth mindset; co-founder of the NH Chapter of Decoding Dyslexia Michelle Stinson on writing programs that support students with dyslexia; and ECSU Special Educator Renee Davis on accommodating learning disabilities, particularly executive functioning. Please mark your calendars and plan to join us to learn from these experts.
