State of California Office of Administrative Law Approves Emergency Compounding Regulation Package 
The State of California Office of Administrative Law has approved an emergency regulation package that establishes procedures t o allow pharmacists to extend beyond use dates (BUDs) for nonsterile compounded preparations as well as procedures for establishing BUDs for sterile compounded preparations

The emergency regulation package is in effect through June 19th, 2018 and may be extended for an additional 180 days if needed.
