Inaugural Council Meeting on Monday, December 3
Please join us for the Inauguration of the 2018-2022 Oakville Town Council on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Town Hall.
 
A public reception with light refreshments will be held in the Oakville and Trafalgar Rooms at 6 p.m. followed by the Inaugural Council Meeting at 7 p.m. in the South Atrium.
 
Newly re-elected Mayor Rob Burton will deliver his fourth Inaugural address during the Council meeting.

Overnight holiday parking made easy

Going out for a late night dinner or party? This holiday season, from November 30 to January 7, you can park between 6 p.m. and 9 a.m. at no charge in all town parking lots, with the exception of the 300 Church Street parkade. Need more time? Simply use the HonkMobile app to pay for extra time past 9 a.m.
2019 Budget update 


Each year the annual budget is one of the most important tasks facing Town Council.  The 2019 proposed rates and fees are now available for review and will be adopted at the inaugural 2019 Budget Committee meeting on December 11. The Budget Committee will also receive the proposed budget for 2019 at this meeting. 
'Tis the season for fire safety

Did you know December can be one of the most dangerous times of the year for home fires? Oakville Fire is reminding residents to take extra precautions to prevent fires this holiday season and is officially launching its annual holiday fire safety campaign this Saturday, December 1 at the Oakville Blades game.
