Three new Picker Gold Challenge Grants delve into the opioid epidemic, patient feedback, and lessons in dialogue
Congratulations to the
recipients of the 2017/2018 Picker Gold Challenge Grants for Residency Training: Dr. Juliette Marie Perzhinsky of Central Michigan University (pictured at left), Dr. Jennifer Barnett Breznay of Maimonides Medical Center, and Drs. Ayelet Kuper and Lisa Richardson of the University of Toronto. All are receiving funding to support a patient-centered care initiative in a residency training program. This cohort marks the first grant from the Gold Foundation for Humanistic Healthcare, Canada.
