As shared in the last IBLCE eNewsletter, IBLCE's periodic eCommunication will now be a briefing so as to more quickly communicate mission critical information regarding the IBCLC® certification programme to stakeholders in all examination languages. This more concise format will allow IBLCE to disseminate important certification information expeditiously to its stakeholders who speak a variety of languages.
As previously noted in the last IBLCE eNewsletter, collateral information will be available to those who are interested in such material through the primarily visual medium of Instagram.

IBLCE hopes you enjoy this inaugural issue of the IBLCE Briefing.

In the past year, IBLCE received numerous requests from IBCLC examination candidates to translate the IBCLC examination into Simplified Chinese.  Due to the growth in exam candidates that use Simplified Chinese as well as the development of independent lactation specific education in this language, IBLCE will be translating the IBCLC exam into Simplified Chinese starting with the September 2019 exam.  Exam seating will be limited in China, so we encourage candidates to apply early in the exam application window (applications will open  March 1, 2019  and close on  May 15, 2019 ) for a seat. The exam will continue to be offered in Traditional Chinese  in 2018, as well as in 2019.
