A Message from the Rabbi Search Committee
 
Rabbi Noah Farkas will be visiting us this coming weekend, March 16-18. The following events will be open to everyone and we encourage you to attend:
 
Friday morning:  Rabbi Farkas will be visiting with our Nursery School children.   

Friday evening at  5:15 pm: Rabbi Farkas will join in Shabbat Hamudim with Rabbi Ari, Cantor Mordecai and  families with young children, to welcome Shabbat. Friday evening  beginning at 5:50 pm  Minhah, Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma'ariv: Rabbi Farkas will be giving a D'var Torah.
 
Saturday morning at 8:45 am (Rosh Hodesh Nisan): Rabbi Farkas will be joining in Shabbat services and giving a D'var  Torah around 11:10 am, and visiting the  Simhat  Shabbat  service (for children grades K-2 and their parents) at 10:45 am in rooms D & E. Kiddush will be followed by a  Community Question and Answer Session with Rabbi Farkas in the Milstein Sanctuary beginning about one hour after the start of Kiddush. Supervised activities for children will take place downstairs beginning at 12:45 pm until 2:45 pm so that parents can attend
Note, there will be an extended community Kiddush, so for those who would like to continue celebrating, and also for any other members who cannot attend the Q&A on Saturday, we have scheduled a second Q&A session on Sunday (see details below).

 
Saturday afternoon at 6:20 pm: Minhah followed by Seudah Shelishit and Ma'ariv. Rabbi Farkas will be leading Minhah, reading Torah, and teaching at the Seudah Shelishit.
 
Sunday morning minyan at 9:00 am: Rabbi Farkas will lead services. 9:30 am: Meeting with Board of Trustees combined with a Q&A session for those who cannot attend Q&A on Shabbat 10:45 am: Rabbi Farkas will teach in Shorashim. 11:45 am: Rabbi Farkas will participate in a teen meeting with 8th -12th graders.

Your input in the Rabbi Search process is critical. We will be reaching out to you to complete a survey and will be holding a Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, March 21 at 7:30 in the Milstein Sanctuary to hear your thoughts. More details will follow. You should also feel free to personally reach out to any member of the Rabbi Search Committee whose names are set forth below. We very much want to hear from you!
