A Holiday Message
From Phillip K. Hawley - President
During the holiday season, our thoughts turn gratefully to those who have made the success of Hawley & Associates possible. Our company began as a dream, in which we wanted to offer the best insurance products at the best possible price to Social Service, Human Service and Child Welfare organizations across the country.  We want to thank you for your loyalty, and because of it, our dream has become a reality, so we will be eternally grateful to all of you.

I would also like to thank my staff for their dedication and commitment to our mission. Your company is only as good as it's people. These words ring so true for Hawley & Associates. We work hard every day to provide our clients with the best products and service possible, and we will continue to work even harder in the new year.

I would also like to recognize all the individuals who tirelessly dedicate themselves in serving others; whether it be finding a loving home for a child through adoption, helping a homeless teen get off the streets, providing services for individuals struggling with addiction or caring for the elderly.  Our world is a better place because of YOU and I want to thank you for what you do!

In closing, I want to extend my warmest regards and best wishes to everyone in the Armed Forces.  During these turbulent times, they are the ones on the front lines whose lives are most at risk.  They are entrusted with the great responsibility of protecting our country and keeping us all safe. To them, a most heartfelt and sincere Thank You!

May this season bring you and your family peace, joy, and lots and lots of love!

Coverage Corner

Sexual Harassment  in
the Workplace

With the all the recent accusations of sexual harassment in the news, now is a good time to think about how this can affect you as an employer.

While some employers rely upon traditional policies to provide coverage for sexual harassment claims, this can leave your organization with less than adequate coverage (or no coverage at all).  Many organizations have opted to purchased Employment Practices Liability Insurance ( EPLI ) to better protect themselves from potential lawsuits.

EPLI can protect you from Sexual Harassment claims, as well as; Wrongful Termination, Age Discrimination, Racial Discrimination, Religious Discrimination, Disability Discrimination, Sexual Discrimination, Hostile Working Environment, Breach of Contract/Misrepresentation and Harassment & Emotional Distress.

With high-stake lawsuits posing a serious risk to any organization with employees, can your business really afford to not carry the right coverage?

Contact Hawley & Associates today for more information about EPLI coverage!
