World AIDS Day Agape Meal and all-night Prayer Vigil
Attendees enjoyed a delightful soup supper and chastity witness by guest speaker Fr Ssekabira Deusdedit of Uganda, UCE Program Director in Masaka Uganda. He also is the Diocesan Youth Director in Masaka Uganda for 1 million+ Catholics encompassing 50+parishes and 1,000 schools (540 Catholic schools, 460 are a mix of government, Protestant and Muslim). Fr Deusdedit recounts how regardless of religion all the schools are asking for him to come with the UCE message. Fr Edmundo Valera, Deacon Blue Medina, and Deacon Patrick Byrne of St Paul's joined UCE in putting on the Agape meal. Others were blessed by taking a prayer hour during the overnight prayer vigil. Enclosed is a 2.5 minute video clip from Fr Deusdedit's presentation when he shared a poignant testimony from his work with the youth promoting chastity through Christ and secondary virginity.
