Marquette to Hold "Denim Day" Fundraiser on Wednesday, October 3rd
Students, Staff Invited to Wear Blue Jeans, Pink Apparel with Minimum $5 Donation; Breast Cancer Mary Kay Mark to Distribute Pink Wristbands to Donors
With October quickly approaching, Marquette Catholic High School has solidified its plans to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Marquette will again collaborate with the American Red Cross and the American Cancer Society to host Denim Day on Wednesday, October 3rd.

Students and staff are encouraged to "go casual" and don jeans and pink apparel for a minimum donation of $5.00. Donations made leading up to October 3rd will be collected by each student's homeroom teacher. Any donations made on Denim Day can be turned in to the main office.

2018 marks a special year in particular for Marquette. It represents the fifth anniversary of director of academic advising Mary Kay Mark'scancer-free status. To celebrate, both Mary Kay and husband, Tim, have purchased pink Breast Cancer Awareness wristbands to distribute to those who donate. Donors can pick up wristbands in the main office.

Denim Day will coincide with volleyball's Dig Pink Night scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm in the Scholl Center when the Lady Blazers host Kouts. Additional donations will be collected that evening at the Scholl Center.

100% of the money raised from Denim Day will go to support American Cancer Society programs and services that assist those with breast cancer.
