Dear St. Isidore Families,
“Good Tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year!” Christmas is days away, and the excitement for the holiday and the break is electric. Christmas break is unlike any other break and is more than a change from our usual routine and the chance to sleep in. Christmas is special, and for most of us, it is the time of year when we are truly at our best! We smile easier, we take time to express gratitude, we send greetings to old friends, we enjoy holiday traditions with our children, but MOST IMPORTANTLY we come together to reflect on the birth of Jesus. My wish for you during this break is to find a moment of silence and time to remember, “For unto us a Child is born.”
I invite you to join us this Friday, December 22
nd
at 8:10 a.m. for an ALL-SCHOOL MASS. It is a wonderful opportunity to reflect and pray together at Christmastime. At the end of Mass, the first grade class will perform its annual Christmas Pageant.
As a reminder, Friday is a 12:00 p.m. dismissal, and students are to be dressed in "Christmas Best". There will be no Kids Connection after school.
We will have one more outreach day, in lieu of candy cane sales. Tomorrow, Thursday, December 21
st
, students are allowed to wear free dress (NO SPORTS ATTIRE) for a donation. One of our Diocesan parishes (St. Bede’s) fell victim to graffiti, so all donations will go to help them clean up the mess.
The Annual Christmas Concert was fun for all! The students and staff did a great job performing and spreading holiday joy! It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces. I want to acknowledge and thank our AMAZING music teacher, Miss Groman. This performance was truly a labor of love, and the result was a festive and fabulous show. Well done!
Please consider donating a poinsettia plant to the church for Christmas Eve/Christmas Mass. Any color and any size are greatly appreciated. Donations are to be dropped at the church Saturday, December 23

I am taken aback at how fast this school year is going and how much we have accomplished thus far as a school and community. In the true spirit of the season, I want to express a heartfelt thank you for your contributions to our success this past year.
Best wishes to you and your family for a joyous Christmas and A Happy New Year!
