Small Firm Roundtable
Kicks off the New Year on January 11

Beau Preston of Southeastern Architectural Systems (SEAS) hosts the first Small Firm Roundtable of 2018 with Translucent Daylighting. This presentation will offer the latest design and innovations in the translucent daylighting industry for the building envelope. Lunch starts at 11:30 and the program begins promptly at noon. Register online.

UNC Charlotte Convocation Lecture: Gabriela Carrillo

UNC Charlotte's School of Architecture opens their Spring 2018 semester with a Convocation Lecture by Gabriela Carrillo, also open to the public. The lecture is titled "Experiencing Space."

Carillo was named the 2017 Architect of the Year by The Architectural Review and the Architects' Journal's Women in Architecture Awards for her Criminal Courts for Oral Trials project in Pátzcuaro, Michoacán, Mexico. She is a principal architect with Taller Mauricio Rocha + Gabriela Carrillo, Mexico City, Mexico.
