As December 31st approaches, many of you are looking at your charitable giving in terms of tax benefits. Although York Catholic is a school, it is also a non-profit organization that depends on donations to meet its budgetary needs. The York Catholic Fund supports every student by enriching extra-curricular programs, music and the arts, professional development for teachers, academic program support, athletic programs, technology, special projects, and operating expenditures.

Even though the 2018 color yearbooks are not distributed until May, NOW is the time to place your order for a book. Extra yearbooks are not available in May. Christmas Break begins Thursday, December 21, at 11:30 AM. All students are required to leave the building at this time unless staying for a supervised activity. Students will return Wednesday, January 3, at 8:15 AM.

 York Catholic's Annual Open House and Science Fair will be held on Sunday, January 21, from 12-2 PM. Prospective students and their families are welcome to tour the school, talk with faculty, staff, and students, and enjoy learning more about York Catholic's exemplary academic programs for students in grades 7-12 where we blend technology with tradition. The Snow Date is January 28 from 12-2 PM.

York Catholic's Parent Referral Program is a win-win for everyone involved. Referred students receive an outstanding education from York Catholic, while parents of the referred families get peace of mind knowing their child is gaining so much more than just a top-notch education. Families who refer someone who registers at York Catholic receive a $50 credit towards their child's tuition.
You, as parents, are our best ambassadors.
In order for the Parent Referral Program to be a success, we need information about individuals who may be interested in joining the York Catholic family. During the registration process, if you are listed as the referring individual for a friend or other enrolling individual, we will credit your child 's account with $50. In May, one family who referred someone who enrolled at YC will be randomly selected to win a $500 tuition credit.
