Celebrate the holidays responsibly
Keep roads safe this holiday season:
  • Slow down
  • Buckle up
  • Drive sober
  • Avoid distractions that divert attention from the driving task
Attending a holiday party? Be sure to designate a driver or volunteer to be a sober driver. Use the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration SaferRide app to call a taxi or a friend to be picked up.

Party hosts should plan ahead to make sure guests arrive home safely. Greet all guests on arrival and departure, taking the opportunity to assess their condition.

To report a driver that may be impaired, please contact the Washington County Sheriff's Office at 503-629-0111.
