Chicago Proud of Centenarian Hattie

ABC Meteorologist Tracy Butler surprised fan and new friend Hattie Balutis for her 100th birthday party hosted by Aspired Living of Westmont, where Hattie calls home.

Earlier this summer the weatherwoman visited Aspired Living and the two became fast friends. "You are the celebrity today!" Tracy told a beaming Hattie. "I adore this woman. You have
made us Chicago proud."

Hattie was featured on ABC News!

Aspired Living Coming to LaGrange

Construction is underway for Aspired Living of La Grange at  35 Shawmut Ave., La Grange . Slated to open in January 2020, the five-story community will offer 84 assisted living apartments and 32 memory care apartments.

Those in assisted living will be able to experience joy and fulfillment with Pathway to Living's award-winning VIVA! lifestyle, and memory care residents will benefit from the innovative approach of A Knew Day
memory program.

Crochet for a Cause

Every memory care resident at  Aspired Living of Westmont
received a hand-knitted shawl made by Needleworks club members, who also donated prayer shawls to Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

It is said that those who receive these shawls "have been uplifted and affirmed, as if given wings to fly about their troubles."

Thanks to technology, Don and Judy celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at Aspired Living of Westmont with friends and family...some in person and others via Facetime! Congratulations.

Camp VIVA! Critters

The latest group of overnight campers enjoyed meeting new, furry friends at camp! While most campers try to avoid the wildlife, our campers bravely snuggled some cuddly chinchillas before heading out to swim, boat and enjoy a campfire.

Thanks to Sunrise Lake Camp Ground in Bartlett, IL, for another successful extreme VIVA! outdoor adventure!
