Thoughts From Interim Pastor Linda Hanus

It is now week three of our Advent journey. We find ourselves continuing to prepare our hearts and homes for the coming of our Lord. This year is unique, because Advent 4 and Christmas Eve fall on the same day- Sunday, December 24. Sadly, Advent 4 will take a back seat this year, shortening our Advent journey by one week.

Speaking of unique, I invite you to celebrate the birth of our Lord with family and friends at the following worship services:

Saturday, December 23   5:00 p.m.
Sunday, December 24     8:30 a.m.
Sunday, December 24     4:30 p.m.  (Family service with skit)

Each service will be different from the rest. Holy Communion will be celebrated at all services.

Cliff and I share our warmest greetings to you and yours for a most blessed Christmas season. May the love, joy and peace of Christ be with you.

I want to extend a big "thank you" to all who donated household furnishings and/or helped me to move into my apartment on Friday, especially Don, Duane, Ron and Marlys, Gene and Les. You were a godsend! Thank you to all who offered me items.  My apartment is small, so I think I have all that I need. I truly appreciate your generosity and kindness.

With Christmas joy,
Pastor Linda
