Dear Epiphany,
Here we are now past the midpoint of Lent. How are you doing? Has this Lent been inspiring to you in some way? Where have you found, or do you still need, Jesus' healing and forgiving presence this season? Or have your Lenten devotions, like mine, become challenging to make time for in busy schedules?

Whether or not we have kept up our disciplines of daily reading or particular fasts, it is always possible to begin again. Together may we renew our commitments to open our hearts and receive the mercy and grace Jesus offers our world. If we do nothing else, we can always open our hands and hearts in prayer. Trust that God will do the rest. So keep the faith and continue to journey together to the foot of the cross and finally, to the joy and wonder of the empty tomb.
Yours in Christ,
Rev'd Jen

    Epiphany Advocates Meeting
  • Epiphany Advocates' Ministry Meeting was rescheduled to this Sunday, March 11 @ 11:45 a.m. due to this week's weather. All are invited to join us to discuss our springtime initiatives for working on behalf of the poor and marginalized in our community. As we've been learning in our Social Justice Bible Challenge this Lent, the Bible is very clear about God's call and our obligation to work for the common good and the dignity of all people. Please join us this morning!

  • Come sing with the Easter Choir!
  • Mary Therese welcomes you to join in singing for the Easter services. We will be presenting two wonderful choir anthems with trumpet: "Lift Up My Heart with Gladness" (Cruger) and "An Easter Fanfare" (Besig). Lenten Study: March 11 & 18 -- The Social Justice Bible Challenge - A 40 Day Bible Study.

The Bible mentions poverty, justice and power more than anything else. Poverty alone is mentioned 2,100 times. Using this book as our guide, join the parish in a daily study of passages of the Bible exploring God's commandments of care for the other in need. Take the challenge to do a daily reading of Scripture accompanied by a reflection, a question for current application and a prayer. We'll make it our daily discipline and gather on Sundays at 9:15 a.m. to share what we've learned over the past week and dive deeper. Books may be purchased online in paper or Kindle format.
