All Things Considered: Reporting on Russian Election

As the U.S. continues to investigate Russian meddling in the 2016 election, Russia is set to have a presidential election of its own. NPR's Mary Louise Kelly will co-host All Things Considered live from Russia on Friday, March 16 and Monday, March 19.

She'll report on how Russians view the U.S. investigation into election meddling, how sanctions imposed by the U.S. have sparked a Russian farm-to-table movement, what it means to be running a doomed opposition campaign, plus live analysis from Moscow on the election results.

Jazz Night Celebrates Women in Jazz
Jazz Night in America
March is Women's History Month, and Jazz Night in America is celebrating women of jazz in its March episodes. Kicking off with vocalist Lizz Wright last week, Jazz Night spotlights Dee Dee Bridgewater on tomorrow's show, in a performance from Jazz at Lincoln Center, featuring the music associated with Abbey Lincoln and Nina Simone. Later this month: Marian McPartland, Jane Bunnette and Maqueque, and Jazzmela Horn. Tune in Fridays at 9 p.m. or listen from the archives.

Invisibilia: Can We Break Our Patterns of Behavior?

Invisibilia, NPR's limited-run series about the unseen forces that influence our lives, makes its season debut this weekend. Season 4 will examine how the stories we tell ourselves can lock us into one place or another... and what happens in the space in between. In episode one, hosts Alix Spiegel and Hanna Rosin ask: Are we destined to repeat our patterns or can we stray in surprising directions? Invisibilia is KGOU's Sunday Radio Matinee beginning March 11 at 12 p.m.

Folk group Lonesome Traveler celebrates the likes of Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, The Byrds, James Taylor and others, depicting the story of folk music from the 1920s to the '60s and beyond. They perform with special guest Peter Yarrow (Peter, Paul and Mary) at Oklahoma City Community College on Thursday, March 29. We've got tickets to give away in a drawing.
