Greetings Eagle Chapter Raffle Participants

The purpose of this email is to thank-you for participating in our special raffle and also to tell you about the features of the weapon and the process that we're using to select the winner.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I am happy to respond.
Also, since you may know nothing about our chapter (we do an awful job of getting the word out beyond our chapter newsletters), I will also provide you information about our chapter in a subsequent email. That email is one that I sent to our chapter members back in July.  I normally send a chapter newsletter update once per month but have been extremely busy.  My plan is to send the next one, tomorrow. I will add you to that mailing.  If you want to be removed, just let me know or select the unsubscribe option.

     Thank-you again for your support.

Very respectfully,

Lee

Sig Sauer - Winner of the Army's Modular Handgun System Donates the P320 Nitron Carry

Sig Sauer P320 Nitron Carry

First of all, were it not for Sig Sauer's generous donation, there would not be a raffle.  We are delighted to have this premier weapons manufacturer as our partner for this event.

The purpose of the raffle is to provide another venue to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Air Force Security Forces.  Other venues include celebratory luncheons that Eagle Chapter is having at Dover AFB DE (Sep 26), Langley AFB VA (held in June), and the Pentagon (Oct 10).

The weapon specifications are highlighted below.

So when is the drawing being held?

Now that you have the details of the weapon, when is the drawing being held?  We are selling raffle tickets through October 10 at 2359/1159PM.

No more tickets may be purchased after that time.  On/about October 14, we will have a raffle that will include a disinterested party.  Once we have notified the winner, we will also notify all participants via email.

For details of the process, please click here.

What if I want to buy more tickets?

Easy - Peasy!  All you have to do is go to our website. Click on the Eagle Exchange Page and make your order.

Tickets are $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00.  You can also find the rules of engagement and other information by starting at the Eagle Exchange page.

Any questions, you can also give me a holler.

What happens to start the process to obtain the weapon?

As I noted earlier, Eagle Chapter didn't buy the weapon. Sig Sauer donated the weapon that they will provide through a certificate that authorizes the bearer of the certificate to claim the weapon through them.

When the winning ticket is drawn, I will complete the certificate with the winner's information and send it to him or her via certified mail. I will also inform the winner via email and phone call.

The winner has until December 31, 2017 to claim the weapon.

Once the raffle ticket is drawn, only the winner of the raffle can claim the weapon.  The certificate is not transferable.  If you want your spouse or kids/grandkids to have a chance to win this weapon, please buy a ticket or tickets.

Again, tickets can be purchased on our website.  Click here.

If you prefer, orders can also be sent to our post office box; but, be mindful of the deadline.  All orders must be received as noted above.

In closing, we are providing this one-time raffle on the occasion of the 20th Anniversary of our Air Force Security Forces.  The graphic above shows the SF leadership through the 20 years.  You can also see a version of this on our website.

I know it seems wierd to say this but, let your friends and family know about the raffle. It's a great way to participate in a great celebration.

We have two more celebration luncheons being held on the occasion of this anniversary.  You'll see more information about these in the chapter updates that follow.

Thanks

Very best regards,

Lee
