Jim Hayes, Executive Director
Greetings!

Thank you for a wonderful 2017 -- and thank you to everyone who has supported our mission to bring hope and healing to people of all ages through counseling and education. Your generosity means so much.

As a nonprofit organization, we are committed to serving children, teens and adults from all walks of life.  I'd like to share a few of the Center's 2017 accomplishments:
  • Launched Spanish speaking counseling services.
  • Started a support group for survivors of suicide loss.
  • Expanded capacity to serve veterans and their families.
  • Enhanced treatments for trauma, depression and anxiety.
  • Added new service to provide supervision for spiritual directors.
  • Opened a satellite clinic in the Drake neighborhood, in partnership with Grace United Methodist Church.
  • Provided sliding scale or assistance to 40 percent of our clinical clients because they were uninsured or underinsured.
  • Provided the same high quality services to all, thanks to our roster of 28 excellent clinicians.
  • And much more (please see our four-minute video below).
If you have not already given, will you please consider an end-of-year gift? Your help will mean so much to others. Together, we can bring hope and healing, and save lives.

Blessings,

Jim Hayes, D.Min., M.Div.,  Executive Director

P.S. You may wish to consult your financial planner regarding the implications of the new tax law to charitable donations.  If you plan to itemize for 2017, you may wish to consider making a gift this calendar year to realize the full tax benefit. In addition, it may make sense for you to accelerate some charitable contributions planned for 2018 into 2017 to get a larger income tax charitable deduction this year.
