March For Our Lives
Lock-in and Detroit March
March 23 and 24, 2018 | St. James, Birmingham

What?

Join together with Episcopalians and Presbyterians for the March For Our Lives - a youth-led effort calling for sensible gun policies in the wake of the shooting in Parkland, Florida.

The Episcopal Dioceses of Eastern Michigan and Michigan are working with St. James Episcopal Church and First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham to put together a group to participate in the Detroit March for our Lives.

The night before, we'll hold a lock-in in at St. James Episcopal Church for middle-school and high-school participants to discuss our perspective as Christians in the midst of gun violence and to prepare for the next day's march, including conversations about peaceful protest and safety.

Adult participants are welcome to join us for the March on Saturday. Please remember that the March for our Lives originated out of the actions of youth. We will be making an effort to prioritize youth voices from our delegation.

Where?

St. James Episcopal Church
355 W. Maple Road
Birmingham, MI 48307

The lock-in will take place on Friday, March 23rd beginning at 8pm.
