From your Principal...
Dear STM Families,

The Auction Gala on Saturday was truly a spectacular evening. Thank you to the Auction Gala committee for all your hard work. This evening simply could not be a success without those that planned the Gala, those that solicited donations, picked up donations, decorated Servant Hall or Rehkopf Center, were Underwriters, or attended the event. It takes the work of many to make this evening a success. A special Thank You to our Advancement Director, Kathy Prado for her leadership in this event.

Re-enrollment packets were emailed to parents on February 20th.  If you have not submitted your re-enrollment yet, please do so as soon as possible so we can have an accurate student count. We are sending letters to new student applicants this week and need to ensure we have accurate numbers for our returning students.  If you no longer have the email, you can simply log into your Renweb account and access the Enrollment/Reenrollment link under the Family Information Tab on the left hand side of your home page.  If you need any assistance to complete this process, please contact Judy Gentempo at [email protected] or by calling the school office at 713-729-3434.

This week is National Beta Club week. Our members have planned fun events for the student body for the week. Tomorrow, all students are invited to bring a small plant, seeds, or plant cutting for our Beta Club students to plant in our gardens. On Thursday, students who bring in $1.00 can wears jeans along with a black or yellow shirt. Black and yellow are Beta Club colors. These funds will benefit the good works of the Beta Club.

This Friday our 7th &  8th grade students will present at out first ever STEM Wax Museum. All are invited to join us in Servant Hall and the Old Gym from 1:20pm - 2:35pm to learn about contributions made by prominent figures of the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

On April 13th, we will hold our Talent Show.  This is open to all students in 3rd - 8th grade. Please see the attached for details.

Lastly, we we informed that the STM Food Pantry is out of cereal.  If you are able to, please send a box of cereal to school by Friday so we can help replenish their stock and help those in need.  We appreciate your support.
Yours in Christ,

Kristen Thome
Principal
