What a wonderful gala we had on Saturday. The turn-out was great and the evening was filled with good food, delicious desserts, great auction items, and above all, wonderful community! Thank you to all who made the evening so great, but a special "thank you" to Cindy Hollcraft and her team for pulling it all together - in not the most ideal of conditions! With the loss of power they were actually decorating in the dark! We will give a full report when numbers become available.

This Sunday, March 11, Irish tenor Mark Forrest will be at our parish for an evening of Eucharistic adoration, prayer, meditation and music. Please join us at 7:30 pm. And please join us for our weekly Stations of the Cross on Fridays at 2:30 pm.

Thank you to everyone who has offered help and support during my surgery recovery! We are truly blessed to be part of such an amazing community. As I continue to recover, submissions are due by FRIDAYS at 5pm. It's very important that you get your submissions in on time, or I won't be able to get them in until the following week. Please keep sending in your submissions, though! I accept submissions from teachers, staff, and parents. If you know of something interesting going on in our community, or want to give a shout out to someone at the school, I'd love to add it to the Buzz. I especially enjoy pictures. Please contact Mrs. Rowley to make sure that we have permission to publish pictures of every student in the picture. Pictures need to be less than 5MB. Thanks so much!

Shout Outs

Many thanks to Coach Chris Payne and his wife Leslie for their efforts on a fun and exciting basketball season for our 8th grade boys! Their final basketball season at St. Ambrose was really special for the boys and their parents. We are so grateful to the Paynes for their leadership and support! Congratulations to Coach and the boys on a great season!

A Gala-sized shout out to Cindy Hollcraft and her merry band of helpers without whom the Gala wouldn't have gone off as smoothly as it did.

Cindy's calm, organized way of handling even the wind storm-to-end-all-wind storms, including pulling out the luck of St. Ambrose to get the power back on was truly amazing. Thank you for all the sacrifices you and your family endured during this time. We truly appreciate it and you!
