What an awesome Sunday we just had celebrating Pastor Megan's ministry with us. If you missed her sermon, you can view it here.
We still need
$558,264
to cover our expenses for 2017. Meeting this budget will enable us to start 2018 with momentum, and to do what God is calling us to do: make disciples of Jesus. Please remember LCPC's annual ministry budget in your year-end giving.
Ways to give:
- Online at lacanadapc.org/give (by midnight on 12/31/2017)
- Mail or drop off a check in the business office (must be postmarked or received by 12/31/2017)
- To make a credit card contribution over the phone, call Michael Bonner, (818) 790-6708, X210 (Monday to Friday 9AM until 5PM except December 25 and 26).
If you come when the business office is closed, we do have a mailbox drop outside of the main office where you can securely leave a check. Make sure you drop it all the way in the compartment where it will be locked, and it will be checked when the business office opens and on Sunday evening December 31.
Also, I want to share with you an exciting piece of good news: in November, Session authorized a team made up of LCPC's Outreach leaders to search for and hire a new Interim Associate Pastor for Outreach. Based on this team's recommendation, Session approved hiring Rev. Dr. Cindy Frost. I worked with Cindy at First Presbyterian Church, Ft. Collins. She has led well in the area of Outreach before, and will provide strong leadership in this crucial part of our church's ministry. Pending approval from our Presbytery, Cindy's first Sunday at LCPC will be January 14th.
