Everything you need to know about Free Agent Fundraisers
On March 13, GiveGab will be back in town to host a session on how to leverage free agent fundraisers and board members to help you reach your Spring2ACTion goals. Be sure to register here for this training. Office hours with GiveGab are also available following the training. Register here . The training will be held from 9-10:30 am at WSUMC. Office hours will be held at 311 Cameron Street.

REMINDER: Has your organization officially registered to participate in Spring2ACTion? Register today! (If you participated in 2017, you must re-register on our new platform to participate in 2018.) Donors are inquiring about participating organizations - make sure your organization page is complete with your story and pictures!

If you are already registered, make sure your nonprofit is donate-able by providing the organization's financial information and you will receive donations directly deposited in your nonprofit's account. We'll award prizes at our training on March 13!
Alexandria Times April Promotion
The Alexandria Times is offering special Spring2ACTion promotions during the month of April.

For the entire month of April (all four editions), any nonprofit may run a full-page color ad for only $500. A full page black and white ad usually costs $1375 plus an additional $125 for color. This $500 ad must be paid in full prior to publication. In addition, on April 19, the Thursday before Spring2ACTion, the Alexandria Times will run a special nonprofit section.

Start Engaging Your Community
Spring2ACTion is all about celebrating the people who make our City so great. A fun and personal way to celebrate Spring2ACTion is by hosting an in-person event to engage your donors and supporters. This positive experience can make donors feel even more invested and can leave a lasting impression that pays off long after April 25!

Amy Rutherford from Penny Post & Red Barn Mercantile and Maria Ciarrocchi from Alexandria Chamber of Commerce will be joining us at the March 13 training to share tips on how to engage with local businesses and hosting offline events.
