Greetings from the China Gateway Director
Dear colleagues and friends,

It is the time of the year to reflect and summarize our work, celebrate the past year's achievements and look forward to the coming year. In 2017, our office continued to thrive in three key areas: faculty support, student engagement and services and alumni engagement. We have gradually improved the scale and depth of work from 2016, and our commitment has drawn support and attention from both the global and the local communities.

We have also leveraged our great network and platforms to land in new areas of creating a joint evidence-based training program for Chinese nurses and comprehensive career services for Ohio State Chinese students after their graduation.

In this newsletter, you will find recent visits of Ohio State's leadership to China and lots of Buckeye spirit from our alumni clubs. This year, the Shanghai Alumni Club was featured in the fall edition of the Ohio State Alumni Magazine. I hope you will enjoy this holiday edition, and don't hesitate to let me know if you have any creative ideas for the China Gateway.

Last but not least, as the holiday season approaches, I want to remind you although we are miles apart, you will always find Ohio State home in China. Happy holidays, and Go Bucks!

Sincerely,

Phoebe You
