Welcome Attorney Amy Gjesdahl

Amy concentrates her practice in elder law, with a focus on adult guardianship, probate and trust administration, and litigation for vulnerable adults against abuse, neglect, and exploitation. 

Prior to joining our firm, she practiced for six years with the Cook County Public Guardian, where she represented the Public Guardian as legal guardian for disabled adults and served as the court appointed Guardian ad Litem for abused and neglected minors. She has also served as a staff attorney with the 18th Judicial Circuit Court and clerked with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office, Domestic Violence Division. Amy's past experience has provided her with a broad background in probate matters, litigation, and client counseling
