News & Announcements
Evaluate Your Devices for Replacement & Upgrades
For students in first grade through high school, one-to-one computing is essential to daily instruction at The Summit. The school has a few laptops on-hand for students to borrow when necessary, but not on a daily basis. As such, please discuss with your child the functionality of his or her computing device and accessories. Is the device functioning properly? Are all accessories (headphones, chargers, etc.) working efficiently? What are your at home guidelines for caring for devices (nightly or weekly charging for school use, no food or drink while in use, etc.)? With variables in student responsibility and everyday wear and tear, at times, devices and accessories are in need of replacement. Personal computing devices and accessories are critical to The Summit's learning environment. We encourage you to evaluate your child's school related devices and consider replacements or upgrades as necessary.
Please Save Your Old/Used CDs for an Art Project
Mrs. Murphy is working on a big art project having to do with old/used CDs or DVDs. If you have old/used/scratched/no-longer using discs please bring them in for our art classes.

Summit Family Business Directory: Available to View Family Businesses

The Summit Parent Organization (SPO) would like to build the relationships within The Summit community by offering families with businesses the opportunity to list their business in the Summit Business Directory. This will allow us to support one another through referrals and patronage.

This information can also be access through The Summit website at  http://www.thesummitprep.org/family/.

Participation is completely optional and free of charge. Additionally, teachers are excited at the prospect of the Business Directory to have as a reference for potential guest speakers in their classrooms &/or field trip opportunities.
