Sunday Service
Join us this Sunday at our Contemporary Service with the band at 9am or at 10:30 for our Traditional Service with our Choir. 

Rev. Étienne will be leading us in worship.  

Flowers
The flowers at the front of the church this Sunday are in Remembrance of Nancy Danch.

Senior's Social
Join us each Monday from 1-2:30 in the Gathering Place starting on September 17th. Please come and have a coffee or tea and a sweet and enjoy the company of other Seniors in our community.

Night Out at the Movies
This month the Marshall Men's Group is hosting a night at the movies, and we'd  like you to join us.  The movie is called "God Bless the Broken Road".    The story is about a family that loses their husband/father in Afghanistan and the struggles they deal with as a result.  The film combines elements of faith, country music, stock car racing and the military.
Title:  GOD BLESS THE BROKEN ROAD
Date:  Tuesday, September 18
Time:  7 pm - We will meet at 6:40 pm in the theatre lobby.
Place:  Cineplex Cinemas Ancaster, 771 Golf Links Rd, Ancaster
Tickets:  You may purchase tickets on line, or at the theatre on the night of the show.

New Board Vice-Chair
The Marshall Board is very pleased to announce that Janice Thompson has agreed to accept the important role of Vice-Chair of the Board.  Jan has been a Committee Chair on the Board in the past, was recently a member of the Minister Search Committee, has participated in many church activities and groups, and will continue to serve as a member of the Worship Committee.  Her experience and commitment to the work of Marshall Church will be very valuable, as she takes on this key position in the church.

United Church Anniversaries

On September 24, 2018 from 10am - 5pm there will be a special day of celebration and learning "Marking Moments" of several milestone United Church anniversaries happening this year.  The event will be held at Emmanuel College in Toronto or you can follow it via live stream.  Please see the link for more information.

 
International Day of Older Persons
The city of Hamilton will be holding an International Day  of Older Persons Event on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 10am - 2pm.  There will be special Presentations, an Information Fair, Refreshments & prizes.  Visit www.agefriendlyhamilton.ca for more information.
