The school discourages student use of social media, however, it is understood that this is a parent decision and that parents are also responsible for monitoring their child's online behavior.  Should a student use social media or any technology to harass other students, compose uncomplimentary posts about other students, or in any way participate in behavior that is detrimental to themselves, other students, or the school, the school will respond appropriately.  Depending on the nature of the behavior, the school may issue a detention, a suspension, or an expulsion.  The school works together with parents to make it clear to students that any online behavior that affects other students or the school will result in disciplinary consequences.

Students that are going to be picked up during the school day by someone other than a parent will need a written note from a parent, that includes the date and signature of a parent. No student will be released to anyone unless a release is verified in writing by the parent. The staff may ask for identification if the staff does not know the person. The Car Pool list is only used for after school pick up and Emergency Cards are used only when your child is sick or injured or in case of earthquake or another emergency.
