Library System Improvements - Public Meeting
Community members are invited to give their input on the location and uses of a new Main Library on the Burgess campus. We will continue the conversation from the December and January meetings regarding the best site on the campus for a potential new library, and additional civic and community uses that could be included with the project.

City staff will present a short overview of the project and will be present to answer any questions that arise. Noll and Tam Architects will present the two options developed during previous meetings, and community members will be tasked with discussing the considerations and trade-offs for each.

Come to the public meeting at the Main Library (800 Alma St.) on

Spark Green 2018 Climate Action Campaign
The Spark Green 2018 campaign aims to double participation in the Menlo Green Challenge, an online program that empowers residents to take climate actions. Last year, almost 400 households signed up for the Green Challenge and they have reduced over 100 tons of carbon emissions! This year, Menlo Spark aims to double that. We’re encouraging everyone to keep taking climate actions, invite friends and neighbors to join, and get recognized with awards and prizes.

Through March 2nd, Challenge takers can share what they're doing for the Menlo Green Challenge and earn entry into the first hashtag contest. Entry into the hashtag contest for prizes is simple! Any action taken towards the Menlo Green Challenge can be posted on the Menlo Spark Facebook page with the hashtag #SparkGreen2018 .
