CAHP Aims to Save Historic Walter French School from Wrecking Ball
This past December the Louis J. Eyde and George F. Eyde Family donated the former Walter H. French Junior High School, located at 1900 S. Cedar Street in Lansing, to our organization. CAHP plans include pursuing a mixed-use redevelopment of the historic building, to include a variety of residential options.

Through hard work and thoughtful planning for their future, Stuart and Tonya were successful in purchasing their own home. Now they reside in Lansing's beautiful Eastside Neighborhood.

For MSU & City of East Lansing Employees - $5,000 in Down Payment Assistance Available
The Employee Home Ownership Program (EHOP) provides home buying assistance from employers, specifically the city of East Lansing and Michigan State University. Eligible employees can use the $5,000 for either a down payment or closing costs. The program has no income restrictions.

FREE Tax Prep Service Available
We are excited to partner again this year with the Asset Independence Coalition and Michigan State University by hosting their VITA tax service.

VITA is a nonprofit volunteer organization that provides income tax return assistance and preparation at no cost to income qualified taxpayers. VITA is sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service and is organized by professionals and students across the United States.
