Zones Lesson with Kipper
Kindergarten welcomed Meg and her pet therapy dog, Kipper, for a Zones lesson. They talked about jealousy and how sometimes the students may feel jealous with siblings or friends and they learned even Kipper feels a little jealous at times with his canine brother and sister. Tr. Amy read the story "When I feel jealous." Kipper also visited Kindergarten recently for another Zones topic. Pet therapy dogs prove to have a calming effect on children and help with social and emotional skills.

Pretzel Fridays
This pretzel initiative is an opportunity to fundraise for middle school trips, build community, and engage with math skills in meaningful ways. The Carousel Connections crew and middle school math students will sell pretzels during the class snack times on Fridays. If you would like your child to receive a freshly baked pretzel, please send a $1 in with him/her. Please note that we will not have a pre-paid sale due to our focus on the math and money exchange. Thank you for supporting our pretzel sale!
