Zones Lesson with Kipper

Kindergarten welcomed Meg and her pet therapy dog, Kipper, for a Zones lesson. They talked about jealousy and how sometimes the students may feel jealous with siblings or friends and they learned even Kipper feels a little jealous at times with his canine brother and sister. Tr. Amy read the story "When I feel jealous." Kipper also visited Kindergarten recently for another Zones topic. Pet therapy dogs prove to have a calming effect on children and help with social and emotional skills.  Click here for photos.
