Announcing Alameda Center's NEW Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
Participating in the nationwide observance of
American Heart Month, I am delighted to announce Alameda Center's
Specialized Cardiac Rehabilitation Program under the direction of Dr. Puneet Sahgal, MD.
Featuring the latest in cardiac rehabilitation protocols, this new program is focused on enhancing independence in mobility & activities of daily living, as well as family education and support to reduce re-hospitalizations.
Striving to meet all your heart's needs, we have added a
new Patient Ambassador to our staff. Providing an attentive listening ear throughout their stay, our Patient Ambassador is a liaison between our patients and residents, their family members, and our staff, thus ensuring that your experience at Alameda is as pleasant and positive as possible.

Meet Dr. Puneet Sahgal
Director of Alameda Center's
Cardiac Rehabilitation Program
In practice for over 25 years, Dr. Sahgal specializes in Cardiology, Diagnostic Radiology, and Internal Medicine. He has been Medical Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Raritan Bay Medical Center and currently serves as the Chairman at Raritan Bay's Medical Center Department of Medicine.
Dr. Sahgal holds a Board Certification in Cardiovascular Disease and is accredited by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Gladys Santana is a great addition to our multilingual team. Gladys brings her highly attuned listening skills, ability to empathize, and a "can do" attitude that will ensure the feedback of our patients and residents translates into action to address their needs and requests. On-hand to meet and greet all new admissions upon their arrival to Alameda Center, she is always available to address any concerns a patient or family member may have.
