March First Friday Art Walk

The March First Friday Art Walk will feature a host of galleries and creative businesses, live music in multiple locations and performance artist troupe the Bad Asstronauts, who will dance and march throughout the district with their large-scale fabric art jellyfish installations and have an official jellyfish parade starting at 40 West Gallery at 6:30 pm. Art-lovers of all ages will enjoy! 
 
Grants For Nonprofits Available
Lakewood's Community Grant Program, administered in coordination with the Lakewood Legacy Foundation, is now accepting applications. The program provides city grants to nonprofit organizations providing important services to Lakewood residents that address needs in the community. Looking for new ways to give back to your community? Look no further, as Lakewood Girl Scout Troop 68115 donates 100% of cookie sales to local food bank, Grace Covenant Food Pantry. In return, Grace Covenant donates bags of food every Friday to Glennon Heights Elementary School for students in need. The troop is looking for monetary donations or cookie sales.
