Sakura of America
In conjunction with Sakura of America, we have chosen the recipient of the Zentangle Apprentice® Program Scholarship winner.

The goal of this collaboration is to choose the recipient who shows enthusiasm for spreading the Zentangle message throughout the art education community in schools.

The fifth recipient since we began this program several years ago is...

Sonia Burton of
Lyons Elementary School (Houston, Texas).

Congratulations Sonia! We can't wait to meet you and learn how you plan to share your new knowledge.

Zentangle Mosaic App Upgrade

Thank you to all who make suggestions on how we can improve our Zentangle Mosaic app. We just did an upgrade that includes some of your requests. Major ones in this upgrade include:
  • An overhaul of the German version translation (with a major "Thank You" shout-out to Jörg Richter, CZT!)
  • The ability to swipe from tile to tile within an artist's collection of tiles
  • The ability to enlarge T3 images (T3 stands for "Tips, Tools and Tangles.)
The first two are available to all versions. The T3 options is only for subscribers.

We invite you to enjoy the amazing world-wide mosaic that is gathering together on Zentangle Mosaic!

We're starting a new page to collect studies and stories about the Zentangle Method from around the world.

We expect this to be a great resource and we invite you to send link recommendations for this page to [email protected].

Go here to read the first two entries.

Rick, Maria, Martha, Molly . . . and You!

mollyatkripalu

Make your plans to join us for a Zentangle Weekend at the ever beautiful and ever serene Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health while Spring spreads its beauty through the Berkshire Mountains of Western Massachusetts.

Begin a new chapter in your Zentangle practice, an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Molly Hollibaugh and Martha Huggins, daughters of Zentangle founders Rick Roberts and Maria Thomas, introduce new ways to enhance your tangling experience.

The focus of this program is on the importance of making your mark in a non-verbal journaling adventure, expressing yourself not with words, but through drawing with the Zentangle Method.

Come learn new ways to embellish and elevate your precious tangle time and get creative with your expression. A special guest appearance by Rick and Maria is sure to take this Zentangle weekend beyond words and into tangling bliss.

Note: All participants receive a Zentangle Journal and all other supplies needed for this Zentangle journey.

Some experience with the Zentangle Method is recommended but not required.
