The result is a delicious, dense palate of dark fruits, black cherries, chocolate and spice that will wow you. This is a fantastic red wine for the winter.

Greetings from Burlington Wine Shop,
Today's tasting spans the entire globe with wines from 5 different countries. We have a crisp, racy Sauvignon Blanc from southern France, a bone dry Riesling from Mosel, Germany, an earthy Montepulciano from Italy, a fruit forward Pinot Noir from California and a dense, dark Shiraz from Australia. All the wines are new to the shop and we're excited to share them with you. We look forward to seeing you at the shop this afternoon |

We'll begin today's tasting with Les Allies Sauvignon Blanc ($11.99), a bright, crisp white from southern France, followed by Pauly Tres Naris Riesling Trocken ($17.99), a bone dry Riesling from the slate soils of Mosel, Germany. For reds we have Belcreme de Lys Pinot Noir (Reg. $14.99, Sale $12.99), a rich, elegant expression of Pinot Noir from California with beatufull ripe red berry fruit, followed by Le Borgate Montepulciano d'Abruzzo ($10.99), a rustic, medium bodied red from central Italy with subtle spice notes and a dry finish, and we'll finish things off with Dandelion Vineyards Lion's Tooth Shiraz ($20.99), a big, dense wine with loads of dark fruit flavors and smoky nuances.
