MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
Mark your calendars for our Spring Dinner and Auction --  May 5 at the Rockwood Woman's Club. This year's theme is absolutely fantastic: "Where There be Dragons... Therein Lies Magic!"

Our hope is that every family will donate one auction item to help support the success of the event. Here are suggestions of popular items to donate:
  • Vacation Stays - if you have a second home or vacation property, we would be thrilled to auction off a week's stay!
  • Restaurant Gift Certificates - we'd love a $25 gift card to your favorite taco stand or a donated private dinner with a local chef!
  • Massages or spa treatments are popular year after year.
  • Fine Jewelry or gift certificates to local apparel shops - these are always top sellers!
  • Sports and outdoor adventure items or experiences - our community loves the great outdoors!
  • Wine - need we say more...

Want to get involved? Sign up for Auction volunteer opportunities here. Tickets, reserved tables, program ads, and event sponsorships will be available in March - stay tuned!

PARENT ASSOCIATION NEWS
Hello Parents -

Mark your calendars for the  all-school Parent Party the evening of  Thursday March 22 (while our students are on the mid-year trip). We will be celebrating at Casa Blanca Restaurant on the patio from 5:30-8:30 pm.  Watch your email for the Evite.

Please join us for the next Parent Association Meeting Wednesday March 7 at 8:45 am in the Lotus.  The topic will be around the March Trips. Our Trip Coordinator extraordinaire, Erin Finnegan, will go over each trip to describe new safety protocols and how they might affect your kids during the trips.  We want to make sure you parents are well informed about each trip and how SBMS is ensuring your kids have the best experience possible!

It's Songfest Season coming up! Each year the PA helps out with promotion, volunteers, food and merchandise at this flagship SBMS event. The date this year is  Saturday, April 28, and we have already gotten a good response of volunteers willing to help with the planning. It is not a huge commitment, and is a really fun group to be involved with. If you think this might be the right way for you to give back to SBMS, please email me at  [email protected]

Coming up!
  • Wednesday, March 7: Parent Association Meeting at 8:45 am in the Lotus (join for coffee starting at 8:30 am)
