Reminder: Renew Your Dental License by Feb. 28

All Colorado dental licenses must be renewed by Wednesday, Feb. 28, through the Colorado Dental Board website. Dentists cannot practice dentistry without a current license. Renew your state dental license before it expires.

CHP+ Update: Funding Renewed For Six Years

Congress has reauthorized the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHP+) for six years and the bill has been signed into law. The bill provides $21.5 billion for fiscal year 2018 for CHP+, increasing to $25.9 billion by fiscal year 2023.

Board Seeks Input on Use of Lasers

The Colorado Dental Board will hold a stakeholder meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 28 to collect input on draft revisions to Rule XXIV - Use of Lasers. This is CDA members' chance to provide input on the proposed changes. Plan to attend or submit comments.

Apply for a CDA Foundation Grant by March 15

The CDA believes in giving back to the community through its charitable efforts. Do you know a nonprofit dedicated to improving access to care that could benefit from grant funding? If so, have them apply or nominate them for a CDA Foundation Grant. Download the grant application.

Leadership Opportunity: Make a Difference in Healthcare

Ready to make a difference in Colorado healthcare? Primary Care Movers and Changers is a leadership training program offered by the Regional Institute for Health and Environmental Leadership that will teach participants a range of leadership skills. Applications are due by March 15.
