Thank you students!  So far we have raised $495 in online donations alone toward our overall goal of $6,000.    
If you haven't registered yet, I hope you will consider joining our team to help our school support the American Heart Association.  
 
Our heart-healthy exercise and activity event will take place next week for all  1st - 5th  grade  students. 
     
Fundraising continues until March 9th when all money will be due.

Reminder:  Any student who has already collected $5 in physical or online donations can bring in the coupon from the packet to receive their first Scare Squad character and clip.  Coupons can be turned in to your classroom teacher or the office.

Extras!  Any student who raises $75 or more in online donations by Feb. 26 will receive the Jax plush pillow.

I am looking forward to seeing which Heart-Healthy choices families have been making while participating in our Heart-Healthy Bingo game.
Remember to turn in your completed bingo board to Mrs. Horner.  You will get your name on the Scare Squad Bulletin Board & your name will be entered into a grab-bag raffle.
5 student names will be drawn to win a choice from the grab bag.

Cosi on Wheels will be at Schultz March 8th & 9th.
We need 20 volunteers per day to help run stations. Please consider helping; the program will not go on without enough volunteers!

Water First for Thirst - Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle to PE to replenish the fluids they lose as they work. Other beverages are not permitted. Water is the healthiest fluid they can put into their body and it is the best for rehydration.
