Important Updates and Reminders
Chamber Orchestra  Rehearsal
Music Director, Jeff Edmons

Chamber Orchestra rehearsal tonight, Thursday, February 22 at 6:00pm
has been cancelled.

A Special Note from Mr. Edmons for all Chamber Orchestra Musicians

Dear Chamber Orchestra Musicians and Families,

As a reminder and as a follow up to our previous communications, the Chamber Orchestra rehearsal originally scheduled for today February 22 has been canceled. There will be no Chamber Orchestra rehearsal this evening on February 22.

Please practice and prepare the Shostakovich Violin Concerto Movements 3 and 4 for our Chamber Orchestra rehearsal on Saturday, February 24.

We will be having a special Chamber Orchestra rehearsal on Thursday, May 3 at 6pm to 8:30pm as part of a special Alumni Soloist Performance with the Chamber Orchestra for our Encore event on Saturday, May 5 this year. Please mark this special rehearsal on your calendar.

Also, as a follow up reminder to our previous announcements at rehearsals, the performance for the Chamber Orchestra originally scheduled for Sunday, March 25 has been changed to instead be on Saturday, May 5 as a special performance of our annual Encore event. As mentioned above we will be having a special SDYS Alumni Soloist perform with the orchestra as part of this special Encore event. I am very excited about this special Alumni Soloist performance for our Chamber Orchestra and I know that you will enjoy meeting our Alumni soloist and learning more about their wonderful history with SDYS.

Thank you all again for your dedication and for your many outstanding achievements in the Chamber Orchestra and in the Ovation Program. I am very proud of you.

With Best Wishes

Mr Edmons
