We are very grateful to LPL Financial and the 400 attendees at the company's annual leadership conference for donating over $6,000 to Junior Achievement of South Florida this past week.
The funds helped 450 students from Driftwood Middle, a Title I school, enhance their JA Finance Park experience, including enjoying lunch from Chick-Fil-A.

JA Career Bound students have been training all year and are now ready to join your business for a summer internship! Through hands-on activities and mentoring from local business leaders, these high school students have been honing their skills in
Communication, Competitive Advantage, Critical Thinking, Goal Setting, Personal Brand, Problem Solving, Public Speaking, Self-Discovery and Teamwork
.
Our students will be a wonderful addition to your team and can help
increase productivity for your business and save on labor expenses. As a business you will be helping to build a hiring pool of young, talented professionals and providing them with experience that will transform them into your future workforce. You will have the opportunity to meet the students and interview potential candidates at our upcoming Job Fair.

Felicia began volunteering with JA of South Florida in 2013, and now we wouldn't know what to do without her! When Felicia comes in, she dives in and treats the students with respect and care, making them laugh and learn at the same time. Her passion and love for the mission is evident each time she enters the building and interacts with the students.
She regularly volunteers not only in JA BizTown and Finance Park, but also donates her time to assist with our special events. Whenever we are most in need, Felicia never fails to jump in to help, and we appreciate her loyalty to our program every day.
