PRINCIPAL'S LETTER
Dear Holy Name families,
Our
Christmas Concert is this Thursday at 6:30PM. We hope you and your loved ones will join us for the show- the kids have been working hard, and we can't wait to hear their beautiful voices later this week. This Friday we will have a $2 free dress day. All money will go to the SFFD Toy Collection.
Next week there is no school on Friday. All students will be dismissed for Christmas break on Thursday, December 21st at 12:30PM. Our class snack parties and the 8th Grade Christmas Dance will be at 11AM that day.
Our
Baby Layette and SFFD Toy Collection Drives continue this week. Thank you for your donations - we appreciate all your help in giving to others.
The 2017 year is almost over! Please remember to turn your
church donations in if you are on the Active Parish Supporter Plan.

AFTER SCHOOL CLASSES FOR NEXT SEMESTER

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
CHURCH DONATION - If you are on Tuition Plan A please remember your Church donation is due before the end of the year. You may drop it off in the school office prior to December 21st, or you may drop it off in the collection basket at Mass.
CHRISTMAS PROGRAM - Holy Name students will be performing in Thursday night's Christmas performance. Please have your child in the Church by 6:15. Friends and family are invited to attend this holiday celebration. The program begins at 6:30.
CHRISTMAS VACATION - School is dismissed on Thursday, December 21st, at 12:30. There is Extended Care on that day. School resumes on Wednesday, January 3. It is a 12:30 dismissal day.

CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCE and VIDEO TO PURCHASE
Students will be performing in our annual Christmas performance this Thursday, December 14, at 6:30. Family and friends are invited to this special event. Please have your child come to the Church in their holiday wear.

SEASON OF GIVING
NEWBORN BABY ITEMS NEEDED
- The Christmas season is coming soon. During this season of Advent, the Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women collects newborn baby items for needy mothers. Holy Name School families have always been one of the most generous schools to bring in diapers, clothing, blankets, etc. Your donations of new, unwrapped items can be placed at the Nativity outside of the 3rd grade classroom.
TOYS FOR TOTS
Please donate any new, unused, unwrapped toy. There will also be a Free Dress Friday, December 15th, for a $2.00 donation for Toys for Tots. Please

Each Holy Name School Family received two (2) books of Auctionraffle tickets twp weeks ago. Please consider supporting this cause by either buying or selling as many raffle tickets as you can!
Here are this year's prize offerings:
1st Prize: $1,500 Cash
2nd Prize: $500 Cash
3rd Prize: $250 Cash
This Auction will provide additional funds to help meet a need of the school. This year that need is new ceiling-mounted projectors for the classrooms. These projectors will provide more space in the classroom for the students and classroom activities and allow for better visuals. In addition, money raised will support our enrichment programs, particularly our Foreign Language Program, as well as our technology offerings and needs.
