Strong Tower Ministries Receives Mexican Non-Profit Status

12 years ago Strong Tower Ministries started serving in Baja as an officially recognized American 501c3. This marks month 1 of being officially recognized as a Mexican non-profit! Included on our Mexican Board are longtime friend and "in-country" lead contractor Sergio Maldenado and Gabby Velazquez, who also serves with our partnering ministry
Genesis Diez.
 
We are blessed and humbled as we see God uniting two countries and cultures in the common goal of seeking to serve and show His love wherever He leads....


Operation Christmas Wrap-Up 

 
Many, many thanks to ALL of you that contributed to the days leading up to our December Christmas Outreach and for those that made it down and served on December 2nd. Over 550 people attended (at least 300 of them were children), 600 lunches were served, 500 Christmas goody bags were handed out, 400 gifts were distributed, 100 families received groceries, and 17 commitments to Christ were made, who after all, IS the reason for the season! A special thanks to the volunteers and leadership of Calvary Chapel La Mision for the love and welcoming hearts they showed to our volunteers and the people in the community they serve. Highlights of the outre ach were:  live worship music, a Christmas message, crafts & games, horses and bounce houses, haircutting, face painting, nail polishing, and an awesome prayer team. Outreaches like these see friendships formed and memories made, and that's what makes your acts of service of love so very special.

Siloe Wellness Center Updates
October 2015 Ground Breaking

November 2017
It's amazing to see what God has done since October 2015 when a group of a hundred or so people from the United States and Mexico gathered together to commit to the Wellness Center project. Construction officially began March 2016 and since that time several hundred thousand dollars of funding and over 1,000 volunteers have brought this project to what you see today. The clinic portion of the facility began seeing patients in October of this year and this month Siloe's first fulltime volunteer will move into the completed upstairs apartment. A Christmas party is even planned next week in the "soon to be finished" community center room.
 
Although so much has been accomplished, a lot of work remains if we are to make our summer 2018 grand opening projection. So enjoy your Christmas and New Year celebrations, and we will see you back starting January 6, 2018!
