For more than a century, visitors have used Pennsylvania's state parks and forests for recreation and enjoyment. To help people become better connected to the outdoors and grow their appreciation for the protection of our special places -- including local parks -- the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources created Get Outdoors PA. Flagship partners include the Recreation and Park Society, Fish and Boat Commission, Land Trust Association, Game Commission (PGC), Department of Health (PDOH), and PA Parks and Forests Foundation.

We are proud to be a  Get Outdoors Pennsylvania Community Partner, connecting citizens to outdoor recreation activities to increase appreciation and active use of parks, while imparting a message of environmental stewardship and healthy living. Visit
