HAGERSTOWN, Md. (December 7, 2017) - The Washington County Board of County Commissioners, along with County staff would like to extend a heartfelt congratulations to Commissioner John F. Barr.
 
Barr was honored Thursday night during the Maryland Association of Counties Winter Conference with the Marilyn J. Praisner Public Service Award for his service to his community, county and MACo. Barr has served on the Board of Directors for MACo since 2011.
