Broadcast Television Highlights

Roads followed up last year's immensely successful Public TV pledge program Ric Edelman's The Truth About Retirement (which exceeded 5,000 donations and raised stations more than $1.1 million) with a new special Ric Edelman's The Truth About Your Future . Top stations such as WETA, KCET, KQED and WNET have picked up the program with donations already rolling in.


3 Roads Oscar-qualified documentary
Rescue in the Philippines  continues to receive worldwide attention with more than 100 ABC affiliated stations airing it in November and December, including each of the top 75 markets. Rescue also premiered on  Jewish Life Television  this Fall and was also sold to Discovery Poland.

3 Roads' documentary   For the Love of Their Brother was broadcast on more than 200 Public TV stations on 9/11 this year.  The documentary, which focuses on heroic 9/11 firefighter Stephen Siller, and the charitable work his family has done in his name, was a prime time staple in dozens of markets across the U.S.

They Shall Not Perish: The Story of Near East Relief - Preview

3 Roads' distributed  They Shall Not Perish: The Story of Near East Relief , a new documentary that focused on the selfless actions of American men and women to save a generation of orphans during the Armenian genocide. The documentary was picked up by dozens of stations including MPT, WCNY, KCET, WOUB and KCSM.
Public Relations Highlights

Our client Ability Prosthetics and Orthotics received dozens of national media placements. The stories, including pieces in the NY Times and the Associated Press,  revolved around Ability patient and quadruple amputee, Sherron Couldren, and how the company was helping her to rapidly regain independence.

Government and Corporate Highlights

Roads  produced a quick turnaround 4K video for the  U.S. Naval Institute  in Annapolis. The video featured legendary  Senator John McCain  of Arizona being interviewed by legendary broadcast journalist  Bob Woodward  of Watergate fame.



3 Roads produced a :30 second Public Service Announcement in English and in Spanish for the Library of Congress (LOC) Veterans History Project. The PSA urges the public to record their memories of their deceased veteran and to submit photos, diaries or journals of their deceased veteran to the Veterans History Project.  


Roads produced the 10th Anniversary Gala video for The Center of New American Security (CNAS). The video paid tribute to former Defense Secretary William Perry, and included interviews with three other former Defense Secretaries, 5 current or former Service Secretaries and a whole lot of other notables. 


3 Roads completed a video  project for long time client  Bechtel .The video documents the efforts of Engineers Without Borders to build a safe bridge for residents of a remote Rwandan village, saving lives and making life infinitely easier.



3 Roads  produced three videos for the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System . These videos instruct caregivers on how to care for dementia patients.






3 Roads  collaborated with longtime client  WHUT-TV  to produce  biographical videos of four Howard University commencement honorees. Included in the group are Senator Kamala Harris and local broadcast legend Maureen Bunyan.





Frederick, MD-based Willard Agri-Service has partnered with 3 Roads to produce a 50th Anniversary video about their groundbreaking business. The video, shot in 4K, features regional business leaders and family members who reflect on the success of the employee and client-friendly business founded by De Willard almost five decades ago.


 
3 Roads  was awarded a contract from the  U.S. Army  to produce a Centennial documentary about  Fort Benning . The documentary will focus on the incredible history of Fort Benning and the surrounding town of Columbus, GA.
