It's officially Confirmation 2018 registration time!
I came across a beautiful statement this week in the book
Process Theology: Embracing Adventure with God by minister and professor Bruce Epperly. He writes, "Jesus said 'yes' day by day and moment by moment to God's call and in Jesus' great 'yes' he provided a pathway for our healing and wholeness".
Confirmation marks an important passage for us as Christians where we are invited to say yes to walking this pathway that Jesus has lovingly laid before us, yes to ongoing spiritual growth and practice, and yes to listening for God in our lives with open eyes, open ears, and an open heart.
Confirmation is open to all students, 9th grade and up. We'll be having two informational sessions to talk more about what your student and your entire family can expect with Confirmation. More details are included below.
Have an abundant blessed week!
With Joy,
Marilyn

If you didn't receive an Advent Wreath last week, we'll have one for your family to take home this week.
With the wreath, you will also receive instructions on how to set up a special place for it and what to do as a family every night.
This is a beautiful way to remind us of the true meaning of Christmas.

Regular Gatherings
Intersect takes Sunday School to the "next level"!
We're continuing to learn about Jesus' ancestry and the leaders, rulers, and formational figures who have shaped and informed our Christian faith through their struggles, triumphs, and evolving relationship with God.
This week, we're discussing Daniel and how faith helps to shape our personal, unique identity and how it can guide us when we find ourselves in our own version of the
"lion's den".
9AM is Middle School Student Focused
11AM is created with High School Students in Mind
However, Students of either age-group are invited to attend the session of their choice.
See you in the Discipleship Room!
